Only from the hard drive. A eula usually allows for a backup copy but you can't down it directly.
Reply:No, Pc games cant be downloaded on a cd. They are copyright protected and even if they were not protected how could it be done?

Reply:Yes. There are a quite few websites on the internet which legally allow users to purchase online versions of computer games. Do a google search for them. Normally the game will be downloaded as an executable (.exe) which can be put either somewhere on your PC or on a removeable media like a DVD or CD. If not an executable then maybe a compressed file such as a zip or rar download. Some companies do have copy protection, however.

Half Life 2 can be downloaded off www.steampowered.com. Once installed, you can back the game up onto a DVD. There are tutorials on the official website.
