C%26amp;C3 crashing during game.. help!?
Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars was confirmed to work in Windows Vista, as were most games like it that work in XP. It's a hardware issue. Here, do this: 1. Go to Microsoft Update and download all the updates; 2. Go to your graphic card's manufacturer's site and download the latest drivers; 3. Don't panic, just install the latest drivers, and then try playing it again. If it still doesn't work, check to see that your system meets at least minimum system requirements. Oh, wait, it's from EA, so there might not be recommended system requirements. They should be on the little strips on the bottom (unfortunately, if you're like me, you probably threw those away by now) of the package (unless it came in a box (unlikely). If it doesn't, install and play on a desktop. By the way, slow downs on laptops are perfectly normal. integrated graphics cards, which would be what would be in your laptop, have this tendancy. You'll see what I mean. Always follow this procedure when a game doesn't work. PS: Sometimes you have to download the original drivers. (they should be archived of the manufacturer's site) PPS: If it still doesn't work, then you should take it to an expert. That would be EA itself. Register the game and call them up or e-mail them. It works! Or search their knowledge base at EA.com!
