I recently brought an Oblivion 4 GOTY game and it has never worked.
I put it on the computer just dying to play when all of a sudden it came up with " an error has occured and needs to close the program".
Nomatter what i do it doesnt work.
There is nothing wrong with my computer and im just dying to play it so please help!

How old is the computer, and will your graphics card support the game? Secondly it may be a faulty disc so you might want to see if the store will allow a one for one swap (same game only) and see if that might help. I'm not too big on tech stuff outside of the basic, I'm an analog guy in a digital world.One more thing you might want to try to look into is how much mem you have vs how much the game takes on the hard drive, you might have to delete or move some stuff to an external.
