Does Anyone Know Alot About That P.C. Game Called Sims2?

I am new to htis game called sims2, and i have got it down for the most part, but i cant understand why my charectors are speaking SPANISH!! When I installed the game, there was a option for english or spanish! i chose english! And then i even unstalled it and re-installed it and still they are speaking spanish, i tried changing the options menu but all it offers is sound changes(autio) ect. but not the language that my people are speaking. Has anyone had this problem? Has anyone fixed it? Does anyone know how to help me, and tell me how to make my people speak engllish!??? Please I need the help, thank you so very much.

lmao. no no no the sim speak a language called simish or something. all of the screen prompts and everything are in english but the sims themselves aren't speaking ANY real lingo hun. that was a cute question. i'm a SIMS2 freak! i love the game, if you need any tips or have any other questions let me know, but all we know about what a sim is saying is based on the talk or think bubbles we see pop up. ok? no real lingo involved AT ALL
Reply:they r speaking simlish (made up language for sims) the whole english/spanish thig is for directions and little notices about the upcoming birthdays of characters, promotions, ect.

Reply:Sims have their own language that's totally incoherent. You can't do anything about it. The English and Spanish option just refers to the in-game tutorial.

Reply:Sims don't speak spanish at all. They don't speak a language the guys who made Sims made the language up. You won't hear your sims speaking any english, so changing any thing will have no effect on their language

Reply:LOL... They arent speaking spanish. They are speaking Simeon!! Thats the Sims own language!! When you chose english it was for your menus, directions, etc... not for how they talk. You will NEVER be able to understand them (unless you learn their language.. lol) and its supposed to be that way! Hope that helps!! :) ~kat
Reply:wow, u got a real issue. The Sims in the Sims2 P.C. game do not speak English. They speak backwards French and you cannot fix it. it sounds like spanish but it is not, now if when a command pops up on the game and THAT is in spanish, then uninstall it and reinstall it.
